Salvador Ochagavia
Senior Associate, Private Equity

Salvador’s wide variety of experiences, both in his education and career, has allowed him to see things through multiple lenses. This enables him to effectively source investment opportunities, execute transactions and support AMERRA portfolio companies.

Prior to joining AMERRA, Salvador was a consultant at BCG, where he focused on post-merger integrations, digital transformations and cost reduction projects across various industries. He began his career in the Investment Banking Division at J.P. Morgan, supporting clients on Latin American M&A transactions in the consumer and industrial goods sectors. Salvador received a BS in Civil and Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (graduated top 2%), and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Salvador helped drive AMERRA’s investment in Aquaship, a company providing a full suite of vessel-based services to the aquaculture industries in Norway, the UK, Chile and the Mediterranean. The analysis of this opportunity required a deep understanding of the aquaculture space and the various segments and geographies in which Aquaship operates.

Salvador is an avid soccer player, mountain biker, skier and SCUBA diver.
