Joe joined AMERRA’s private debt investment team in October 2012 where he has garnered experience underwriting agriculture and aquaculture investments across the capital structure of companies operating throughout the Americas.
In his current role, Joe contributes in the origination and analysis of new investment opportunities, portfolio monitoring and management, and debt restructuring efforts. Joe is also deeply involved in AMERRA’s investment in Baja Aqua-Farms S.A. de C.V. (Mexico), where he has worked closely with management and other stakeholders on the successful turnaround of one of the world’s largest producers of ranched Pacific bluefin tuna.
Joe’s intellectual curiosity allows him to recognize the core drivers of clients’ businesses in the greater context of developing themes in agribusiness and commodity finance. In turn, he is adept at arranging well-structured financings in support of clients’ strategic objectives while maintaining a prudent risk management approach. In keeping with principles central to the AMERRA ethos, Joe focuses relentlessly on executing his mission while conducting business with honesty and integrity.
Originally from Cincinnati, OH, Joe relishes travel – both in connection with meeting current and prospective AMERRA clients as well as for pleasure. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Denison University.
