Anthony focuses on sourcing investments, raising capital, analyzing opportunities, executing transactions, and providing ongoing support to AMERRA portfolio companies. His background in Investment Banking and Latin American focused private equity serves as a solid foundation which Anthony leverages daily.
Anthony’s work covers developing investment theses, establishing relationships with target companies, presenting potential targets to the AMERRA investment Committee, leading due diligence efforts, and negotiating deal terms and documentation. On the portfolio side, Anthony provides advisory support in the development of key initiatives, development of strategic objectives, and assistance on corporate development and M&A.
Anthony helped drive AMERRA’s investment in Aquaship, a company providing a full suite of vessel-based services to the aquaculture industries in Norway, UK, Chile and the Mediterranean. The analysis of this opportunity required a deep understanding of the aquaculture space and the various segments and geographies in which Aquaship operates.
During his tenure at AMERRA Anthony has shown proficiency at creating solid relationships, both internally and with management teams. This is reflective of his collaborative style and willingness to do what is needed to ensure success.
Prior to AMERRA, he worked at Nexus Group, a Peru based private equity fund where he concentrated on the industrial and retail sectors. At Nexus he completed two acquisitions, worked on integrating two leading retail chains, and led a successful bond offering. Before Nexus, Anthony worked as an investment banking associate and analyst with Credit Suisse, mostly focusing on Latin American M&A.
Anthony is a native English and Spanish speaker. He holds a BS in Finance and Economics from Arizona State University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is also an avid SCUBA diver (rescue certified) and a fishing enthusiast.
